Our Services
Mentoring
Our mentoring program was created to provide guidance and encouragement to children 7-16 facing challenges in the home and school setting. Our trained mentors work closely with mentees and their families to develop personalized goals within a treatment plan. Our goal is to provide a safe space to open communication and emotional support. Through regular meetings and activities, we aim to build positive relationships, improve self-esteem, and foster personal growth. Our program focuses on communication skills, behavior modification, social skills, and encouraging healthy decision-making. By participating in community based experiences, we offer our mentees new opportunities inside and outside of their own communities. Overall our mentoring program aims to empower at risk youth to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and lead fulfilling lives. We also offer Psychosocial Groups focusing on bullying, art, communication skills, and more. These events occur quarterly. Harmony Heights will provide mentoring services 6-10 hours per week.
Independent Living
Independent Living is designed to provide support, training, and resources to teenagers transitioning into adulthood. Our program focuses on promoting personal growth, development, and confidence to ensure our teens effectively live independently. Our sessions focus on life skills to include banking, laundry, grocery shopping, conflict resolution, budgeting, and other daily living activities. Participants create goals outlined in a treatment plan based of outcomes from our skills assessment. The goal for independent living is to help our teens reach self-sufficiency and achieve their full potential. Harmony Heights services young adults 16 and up for Independent Living skills 5-8 hours per week.
